It also remains prominently ranked in the overall media landscape

For the seventh consecutive year, Il Sole 24 Ore is Italy’s most trusted daily newspaper, as certified by the Digital News Report 2024 conducted in 47 countries by the Reuters Institute at Oxford University. Il Sole 24 Ore retains its top spot among daily newspapers and remains prominently ranked in the overall media landscape, following Ansa and Sky Tg 24.

Italy's leading business-financial newspaper achieves a 67% "brand trust rating”, significantly outperforming other major international newspapers in the U.S., the U.K., and key European countries, particularly Germany, France, and Spain.

Once again, the high-quality information of Il Sole 24 Ore has been recognized. Since 2018, when the Reuters Institute began measuring readers' trust in digital news publications, it has consistently ranked among the top three in the media world and has maintained the top position among daily newspapers.

This quality has earned it several accolades: recently, the Diversity Media Award 2024 for the best article in Print Newspapers; the Journalism AI fellowship, promoted by the London School of Economics, obtained by the online data-visual section Lab24; and participation - along with 9 other European media outlets - in PULSE, a Project funded by the European Commission - DG Connect, which focuses on collaboration between newsrooms in different countries to deliver quality information on European affairs.

Il Sole 24 Ore's supremacy is also reflected in its unchallenged leadership on LinkedIn, the social media platform aimed at the professional community, where it reaches more than 1.3 million followers (as of March 2024). Additionally, it leads in podcast listening charts on major platforms with "Start" and "Market Mover”, the daily news podcasts brought by the editorial staff.

The editorial staff of Il Sole 24 Ore upholds a daily commitment to deliver reliable, verified, competent, earnest, independent, and transparent information. This responsibility is even more critical in an era where fake news is prevalent and could potentially worsen with unethical applications of AI. To address this, the 24 ORE Group has adopted a code of self-discipline for the responsible use of AI and has broadened its coverage on this topic, not only in the pages of the newspaper and the website but also through a new significant collaboration with Father Paolo Benanti, Chairman of the AI Commission on Information. Additionally, the new newsletter "Il Segnale" covers the latest news on artificial intelligence and its applications, from numbers to job and study opportunities to new developments for businesses.

Il Sole 24 Ore's commitment extends across all areas it covers, with a particular focus on sustainability. The newspaper leverages a robust information platform ranging from the online Sustainability channel to Lab24's climate infographics, from the ESG Observatory to the new Energy Transition Observatory, to the world of Diversity & Inclusion with the Alley Oop blog and various dedicated print and digital editorial initiatives. Furthermore, it prioritizes financial literacy with initiatives such as the Financial Education Manifesto and the multimedia project Young Finance.
