Whistleblowing

See the Whistleblowing Policy

Being committed to promoting ethical and transparent behaviour, the Group has established a whistleblowing system in line with international best practice and current regulations, including Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and Legislative Decree No. 24/2023. This system allows both internal and external members of the Group to safely report any unlawful conduct or conduct that does not comply with the ethical principles set out in the Code of Ethics or other applicable regulatory provisions.

The Portal

The whistleblowing Portal is available to anyone who wishes to report in good faith conduct or events that may constitute violations of laws, regulations or Company procedures. These reports must be made to protect the public interest and the integrity of our companies.

Reports are received by the Company’s Internal Audit Department and managed by the Ethics Committee, jointly with the Company’s Supervisory Body, in the event that elements of interest pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 are reported, or are identified during the course of the checks and investigations.

Confidentiality and protection from retaliation or discrimination is guaranteed and sanctions are provided for those who violate the whistleblower protection measures.

Sanctions are also provided for against the whistleblower, which can be imposed also by the anti-corruption authority (ANAC) in compliance with the conditions of the Decree, in the case of reports made with malice or gross negligence or which prove to be untrue, unfounded, to contain defamatory content or otherwise to have been made solely for the purpose of harming the Company, the reported person or other parties affected by the report.

The Portal and the protections afforded to the whistleblower do not apply to challenges, claims or demands linked to a personal interest of the whistleblower that relates exclusively to their individual employment relations, or is inherent to their employment relations with hierarchically superior resources.

In the same way, the Portal should not be used for complaints, requests for assistance and other commercial matters. For such purposes the appropriate sections on the websites of the 24 ORE Group companies or customer services (+39 02 30300600) are available.
