Born in Genoa on 30 December 1961, Edoardo Garrone earned a degree in Political Science at the Alfieri Institute of Florence, and later attended post-graduate courses in Economics and Finance in London and the USA, as well as a "Business & Administration" course for junior company managers at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

In 1988, he joined ERG S.p.A., initially involved in the Group reorganization plan, subsequently overseeing the first stage of implementation. From 15 June 1990 to April 2003, Deputy Chairman of ERG S.p.A.. From 20 May 2011 to February 2013, Executive Deputy Chairman of U.C. Sampdoria S.p.A.. From March 2013 to June 2014, Chairman of U.C. Sampdoria S.p.A..

Edoardo Garrone is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of San Quirico S.p.A. (Industrial Holding of the Garrone/Mondini Group) and Chairman of the ERG Group. Claudia Parzani is Chair of Borsa Italiana S.p.A., Deputy Chair of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A. and non-executive director of Stellantis N.V..

A business lawyer with expertise in corporate and corporate governance matters, and in strategy and sustainability, she is a senior advisor at the international law firm Linklaters, where she held significant management positions globally as a long-time partner with the firm. She has gained experience in Italian and international law firms, assisting companies and banks in navigating the most intricate extraordinary transactions. She was Chair of Allianz S.p.A., an external member of the Board of Directors of the Milan Polytechnic, and non-executive director of leading corporations.

A life-long passion for inclusion and social issues, Claudia Parzani is a member of the advisory board of UNHCR Italy, sits on the Scientific Committee of Parks - Liberi e Uguali and chairs the Strategic Board of the non-profit Fondazione Italia per il dono - F.I.Do. She is also founder of Breakfast@Linklaters, a broad network of female business community members and ambassador for Italy of the international "Inspiring Girls" campaign aimed at promoting inclusion and combating stereotypes. As Chair of Valore D, she structured and launched the "In the Boardroom" project alongside other partners, preparing future female board members.

Claudia Parzani is also Vice Chair of the Italian group of the Trilateral Commission and sits on some of the most influential national and international think tanks and some of the leading associations in the Italian business community. She speaks regularly at conferences and workshops on the topics of corporate governance, ESG, economy and finance, leadership, future scenarios, innovation, the job world, D&I, talent, youth and generations. 

She has authored articles and publications and contributed to several books. She co-authored with Francesca Isola “Meravigliose Tour guidato all’interno di noi stesse” (Il Sole 24 Ore, 2020), which focuses on gender issues and women's talents, and with Sandro Catani “Si vince solo insieme” (Garzanti, 2022), which outlines the essential tools required to face future challenges in the job world. Most recently, she published “La rivoluzione degli outsider” (Rizzoli, 2024) touching on issues of gender, the importance of including new generations and changes in leadership models.

She sits on many prominent juries and has won numerous awards for her career and ongoing social commitment. "Eminent Practitioner" according to the legal directory Chambers & Partners, "Highly Regarded" and "Woman Leader" according to the legal directory IFLR1000, Claudia Parzani has also been inducted into the "Hall of Fame" of the legal directory Legal500. For the past 7 years, she has been part of the global list of Women Role Models published by HERoes.

Mirja Cartia d’Asero is Chief Executive Officer of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A. since 27 April 2022 and already a member of the Board of Directors since 23 July 2020.

She has gained significant experience of over 25 years in the finance sector with a particular focus in the real estate sector, first as a lawyer and then as a manager and entrepreneur.

During her first 10 years of career, worked as a lawyer for international law firms in the banking & finance and real estate areas in Italy and London. In the following 12 years, worked for an international investment bank in the real estate finance area.

Since 2015 she has held the role of Co-Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of a company (ReStar) specialized in NPLs with underlying real estate. In November 2019, ReStar was acquired by Guber Bank, where she was Head of Real Estate.

From 2014 to date, held various roles as an Independent Director in listed companies, covering positions on Board internal committees.

She is currently Independent Director of TECMA Solutions S.p.A., of ZURICH Investments Life S.p.A. - where she also holds the position of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Member of the Internal Control and Risks Committee - and of ITALMOBILIARE S.p.A., where she is also Chairman of the Control and Risks Committee, Member of the Sustainability Committee and Member of the Related Parties Committee. She is Board Member of Ansa press agency. She is a member of the General Council of FIEG - Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers, as well as Managing Director of the Publishing Reform Commission.

Previously, she was an Independent Director of FNM S.p.A., of DAMIANI S.p.A., of PRELIOS S.P.A. and of PRELIOS SGR S.p.A.

Born in Catania on 11/22/1969, she graduated in law at the University of Catania, she obtained the qualification to practice as a lawyer in 1996; subsequently she attended the European Lawyer at the Law Society, the In the Boardroom training program, organized by Linklaters, Egon Zhender and ValoreD. At C.E.O. School obtained the Advanced Training Course for 30 female executives selected for merit, sponsored by GE Capital and Borsa Italiana. She is passionate about sustainability and AI.

Federico Silvestri is General Manager Media & Business of the 24 ORE Group, which he joined on 1 October 2018.

He is currently also General Manager of 24 ORE System, the advertising agency of the 24 ORE Group, General Manager of Radio 24, Managing Director of 24 ORE Cultura and of 24 ORE Eventi.

On behalf of the 24 ORE Group, he is also Managing Director of the subsidiaries 24 Ore U.K. and 24 Ore U.s.a., President of T.E.R. (Tavolo Editori Radiofonici), and board member of PER (Player Editori Radiofonici) and AUDIPRESS; he is member of the Federal Council of FCP (Federazione delle Concessionarie Pubblicità), and member of the General Council of Confindustria Radio TV, of AICC Confindustria (Associaz. Imprese Culturali e Creative) and ASSOLOMBARDA (Media Group).

Born in Milan in 1971, a graduate in law at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Silvestri has held various positions during his professional career with some of the major publishing groups and advertising agencies.

He started out in the personal finance area at Deutsche Bank, then moved on to the Radiocor division of the 24 ORE Group as Account Manager for Major Clients. In 2001, he took part in the start-up of e.Biscom (later Fastweb). After three years in the Broadcast division of RCS MediaGroup, which dealt with radio and content production, he was appointed Business Development Manager at Ansa.

During his following 10 year-stint at PRS Mediagroup, where he was CEO of all the Group companies, he was in charge of advertising sales and led the Group in the expansion of business in the publishing field through a series of start-ups and acquisitions.

Eraldo Minella, Professional and Training Area General Manager, boasts a managerial and consulting track record in the field of B2B Services for Professionals and Businesses.

Born in Stradella (PV) in 1959, scientific high-school leaving certificate, he earned a degree cum laude in economics (1982) at the University of Pavia, where he gained initial experience as a research fellow at the Institute of Economics. He then specialized in International Marketing and Trade (scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Trade) and attended the Executives program at Bocconi University.

His business career starts at Wolters Kluwer (1986-1994), working in the Marketing department (from Junior Product Manager to Marketing Director New Media), with the successful launch of the first CD-ROM databases featuring regulatory and tax content and the first management software solutions for accountants.

During his first stint at Sole 24 ORE (1994-2003, from Marketing Director to Deputy General Manager), he contributed to developing the Group's B2B portfolio of products, launching the first Windows-based packaged software solutions on the Italian market, a family of vertical magazines (Settimana FiscaleGuida al DirittoGuida al Lavoro, etc.) that became market leaders on their respective targets, and the Group's databases. 

For De Agostini Professionale (January-November 2003), following the acquisition of UTET, he was Marketing and Strategic Development Director, developing with regard to the Leggi d'ItaliaIl Fisco, and Utet Professionale brands a post merger integration and development project for an integrated and synergistic product portfolio.

In his second spell at Sole 24 ORE (2003-2011), he was General Manager of the Professional Area (three Business Units: Professional Publishing, Software and Training), bringing it to its highest level of profitability thanks to internal and external growth (he managed the acquisition and then became Chairman of Esa Software, STR, Data Office and Newton Management Innovation). He was part of the management team that handled the Group's IPO, participating in the international roadshow in the margins of the listing.

Since 2012 till 2018 in Strategic Management Partners, in charge of product and sales innovation projects and of temporary management in the fields of publishing, software, training and new B2B services for Professionals, Businesses and PA. 

Since January 2019 he has been Senior Advisor to Il Sole 24 Ore for the relaunch of the Professional Area within a strategy of developing a traditional and innovative system of products and services, strongly integrated with the newspaper and other media of the Group.

Since 2022, he has also been responsible for the new training line which sees the return of Il Sole 24 Ore to the education sector with an innovative offer aimed at professionals, managers, companies and the Public Administration.

Gionata Tedeschi joined the 24 ORE Group on 31 January 2023 as General Manager for Innovation and Sustainability. Since 24 of September 2024 is General Manager for Innovation and Technology.

Gionata Tedeschi, a Bocconi alumnus, started his career in strategy consulting at McKinsey, then, with a focus on transformative market issues and new technologies, launched - in the digital, marketing and data science field - successful start-ups leading them to their following exit (such as Buongiorno.it, Born4shop-Saldiprivati.com and Daskell). From 2012 to 2018 at Accenture as Managing Director, he led the Digital Strategy practice in Europe, with advisor roles to leading companies in Automotive, Retail and Financial Services. He oversaw strategic consulting projects related to ESG principles and served as a delegate on the "Board for Diversity". From 2018, he was Chief M&A and Strategy Officer at Octo Telematics, a leading global IOT and mobility company, subsequently in 2022 he became Senior Advisor in Fineurop Soditic for M&A operations in the technological field.

He is a lecturer in Management for Digital Enterprise at the "Data Science for Management" International Master's Program at the Sacro Cuore Catholic University. Thanks to a career spent in Italy, the UK, France and Israel, he has developed an international strategic vision.

Alessandro Altei joined the 24 ORE Group on 18 March 2024 as Legal Director of the 24 ORE Group, heading the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department

Altei, 41, has built his career in challenging and international environments, providing him with extensive expertise in his field. He comes from SAES Getters S.p.A., a hi-tech company listed on the MTA of Borsa Italiana S.p.A., where he served as Group Head of Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs for both the Parent Company and its subsidiaries in Italy and abroad.

Before that, he was Deputy General Counsel - Corporate and Legal Affairs of SAES Getters S.p.A.. In his previous roles he served as Legal Leader and Contract Manager at Honeywell Italy, Legal and Compliance Specialist with Siemens S.p.A. and began his career at ABB.

A graduate in Law from Federico II University of Naples, he holds Master's degrees in Law and Business, in M&A Transactions and Corporate Joint Ventures, in Finance and in Sustainability and ESG, and has been featured in the "The Legal500" General Counsel power-list.

Elisabetta Floccari joined the 24 ORE Group on 17 July 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.

Over the span of her career, Ms. Floccari has gained considerable experience in administration, finance, and control, particularly as CFO for top-tier companies in the engineering, automation systems, and construction industries, where she also oversaw M&As both nationally and internationally. She has further enhanced her professional profile by acquiring skills in ESG and completing a Master's degree in Sustainability Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice in 2022.

A certified public accountant and auditor, Ms. Floccari started her career as a Senior Tax Consultant at the tax law firm of Arthur Andersen networks and later worked at Ernst & Young.

From 2013 to 2016, she was Group Accounting, Tax and Corporate Affairs Director of Permasteelisa Group, where she later also took on the role of CFO EMEA Region and, from 2016 to 2020, of General Manager of the Italian parent company.

From 2020 to 2021 Ms. Floccari was Group CFO of Piovan S.p.A., a leading listed company in the development and production of systems for the automation of production processes, a role she also held at C2Mac Group S.p.A..

Born on 18 July 1973, Ms. Floccari graduated cum laude in Economics and Business from the University of Trieste.

Paola Boromei joined the 24 ORE Group as Chief Human Resources, Organization & Sustainability Officer on 13 May 2024, reporting directly to the CEO.

Paola Boromei boasts a strong professional background in human resources within prominent national and international groups, including publicly-traded ones. Her expertise spans organization, transformation and change management projects, along with proficiency in areas such as organizational culture, internal communication, governance, and employer branding.

Prior to joining the 24 ORE Group, from 2017 she served as Chief People & Organization Officer at Snam, where she oversaw various initiatives, including the establishment of the Corporate University, the revitalization of executive compensation policies, the introduction of multiple institutional school programs in partnership with the Ministry, and the implementation of corporate volunteer programs.

She graduated in Organizational Psychology at the Catholic University of Milan, with a specialization in Organization at SDA Bocconi. Additionally, she obtained an executive Master's degree from Insead, France. Her career started at the L'Oréal Group, where she held roles of increasing responsibility across human resources, marketing, and sales departments.
In 2005, she was appointed HR Director of L'Oréal Prodotti di Lusso S.p.A. in Italy and in 2008 deputy HR Director Europe of L'Oréal Luxe International at the Paris HQ.
She then served as Human Resources Director of the Mediterranean Area at EY, then Human Resources and Organization Director at Humanitas, within the Techint Group.

Further enriching her professional profile are roles as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of major multinational corporations.

Karen Nahum has been General Manager Publishing & Digital Area of the 24 ORE Group since 17 June 2019.

Born in Sondrio in 1971, classical high school diploma, a graduate in Economics at the Catholic University, specialization in Marketing and Master in International Management, scholarship from the European Community at LIUC, diploma In The Boardroom, 2015 Merit and Talent Award for Innovation, Karen Nahum attended the Leading Innovation Strategies training course at Yale School of Management. During her professional career, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in the strategic development of the digital and multimedia business, keen on the impact of new technologies on social transformation and the understanding of new consumer trends related to the use of multi-platform content.

She started her career in marketing and gaming at Hasbro, a US entertainment multinational, subsequently moving to Disney Channel to work on the launch of the new satellite TV offering in Italy as Marketing Supervisor. She joined the Sole 24 ORE Group in 2001 upon the launch of the TV channel 24ore.tv dealing increasingly with the digital offering of Sole 24 ORE as Online Channels Manager, developing the site's multi-platform offering, several award-winning apps, databases, finance products, and e-commerce, and launching new channels and services until becoming Digital Publishing Director.

In 2013, as Chief Digital Officer of Humanitas, she followed the creation and launch of the digital platform of services and social channels in support of patients, then joined De Agostini Editore as Digital Director of De Agostini Scuola and DeA Planeta Libri (50% joint venture with the Planeta group). During these 5 years, she was involved in the development of the cross platform digital and social presence (text, audio, video) of content, with strong focus on user experience and innovation, scouting for innovative technological solutions and business models, managing agreements and strategic partnerships with major players in education and trade books including Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Without disregarding areas of innovation and experimentation such as the scouting of unpublished novels “Fai Viaggiare la tua Storia” with Autogrill, the “Programma il futuro” project by Miur and Cini, “Digitale di Classe per Riconnessioni” by Fondazione per la Scuola San Paolo, the “Libri per Tutti” accessibility project, and the European projects Digi.co and Social Truth.

Tim Price has been Information Technology Director of the 24 ORE Group since 28 January 2019 after holding various other positions within the Group.

Born in England in 1965, married with 2 children, he earned a Master in Information Technology at University College of London and a BSC in Biochemistry at Bristol University.

He started working in England with the multinational Logica Plc as a consultant and Project Manager in network computing. From 1989 in Italy at Logicasiel SpA, a joint venture with Finsiel (later Webegg), with a specialization role in Real-time Financial Services and software for trading and exchange rooms.

He has overseen the product technologies of Il Sole 24 Ore from 1997 up to today, promoting innovation and development of different product lines from Radiocor and Finance, to Databases and Digital Publishing.

He followed the development of the digital platform of IlSole24Ore.com from its onset and coordinated the following consolidation and constant innovation up to the new digital platform launched in June 2019, which will bring about the development of a new series of innovative publishing products and services, including pay ones, for individual clusters of readers/users.

He practices sport, marathon runner, Ironman Finisher and mountaineer.
