- Advertising sales keep rising
Radio 24’s audience grows by 4.4% from Monday to Friday in 2Q 2015 versus 2Q 2014, reaching 2,175,000 listeners. The figure increases by 8.9% on Saturday thanks to the new programmes launched starting from last February. Over the whole week in 2Q 2015, listeners to the radio headed by Roberto Napoletano grow by +2.6%, confirming the growing interest in the programming schedule of the news&talk radio of Gruppo 24 ORE, revamped at the beginning of the year.
The share performance and ranking in the first six months of the year are confirmed versus the same period last year, placing the news&talk radio of Gruppo 24 ORE firmly in 9° position in the ranking of the most popular national radio networks with 1,962,000 listeners. A result rewarded also by advertising sales, which continue to achieve a double-digit growth, further improving the performance reported in 1Q 2015, far stronger than the market’s average.
“Deep satisfaction for the growing trend in listeners to the Newscast and to the thought-provoking current affairs magazines following the changes made to the schedule” expressed by Radio 24 Director Roberto Napoletano, who comments: “The quality shown in the ‘core’ week of Radio 24 from Monday to Friday propagates positively to Saturday too and is strongly reflected in the constantly remarkable results achieved also by advertising sales”.
