Out of the top 15 national broadcasters, Radio 24 was the only one to grow in 2H14 versus2H13,bucking the market trend. These are the results of the Radiomonitor radio audience survey released today by GfK Eurisko.

The growth of the radio station of the 24 ORE Group in 2H14 is extremely meaningful: besides growing in total audience (+0.4% with 1,965,000 listeners), Radio 24 also reported a sharp rise in average quarter hour audience, with +12%, confirming the growth of average listening duration of every single radio listener. Specifically, from Monday to Friday, Radio 24’s total audience increased versus 2H13, reaching 2,178,000 listeners.

"The increase over the last six months, which bucks the market trend and outperforms the top 15 Italian radios, heartens us in the choice made by Radio 24 to continue to invest in quality while expanding areas of interest, based on our traditional idea of what radio really means", says Radio 24Director Roberto Napoletano, who continues: "The 12% growth in average quarter hour audience and the increase in listeners from Monday to Friday, who have reached 2,178,000, inspires us to invest along the same line, as we are doing, even during the weekend."
