nin your capacity as the Data Subject, i.e. the person to whom the personal data provided by you refer (hereinafter referred to as "Data"), the undersigned company Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A., (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), the Data Controller, wishes to inform you of the following.

1) YOUR PERSONAL DATA THAT MAY BE COLLECTED

The Data collected refer to the information generally contained in the Curriculum Vitae. In addition, information may also be collected from a check of your references (if carried out) such as membership of some institution, academic background, work history and other relevant information in order to determine your suitability as a candidate. In addition to this, they may also include information and images from your profile on professional networks (if applicable), notes taken during interviews, and comments from other parties, such as referees, that may arise during the selection process. The Data may be updated on the basis of publicly available information and/or collected by third parties, and/or directly by you. In addition, the Company reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks on the truthfulness of the Data, in particular with regard to qualifications obtained, previous work experience, and the holding of professional offices or institutional positions, including by contacting the persons indicated by you as referees, as well as your previous employers and any other person with whom you may have come into contact in the course of your work activity.

The Data that will be acquired will not concern personal convictions, trade union or political affiliation as well as political, religious or trade union opinions, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, race, ethnic origin, colour, state of health, (hereinafter "Special Categories of Data"), as well as facts that are not relevant for the assessment of your professional aptitude, unless these are characteristics that affect the way in which you perform your job or that constitute an essential and determining requirement to perform your job.

2) WHAT PURPOSES CAN YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE USED FOR

The collection and processing of your Data are necessary to execute pre-contractual measures and carried out for purposes connected with or instrumental to the performance of the Company's personnel search and selection activities.

Grounds for processing: the provision of data, including special categories of data within the limits indicated above, in accordance with the legislation in force on the protection of personal data, is mandatory in order to allow the Company to fulfil the requirements of knowledge and assessment of candidates in the context of personnel search and selection as well as obligations under laws, rules, regulations. Failure to provide the data may result in the impossibility of carrying out the personnel search and selection process and the impossibility of establishing the employment relationship.

3) HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA SECURE AND FOR HOW LONG

Your Personal Data will be processed correctly, lawfully and transparently. It may be processed manually or using automated means that can save, handle and transmit it. Processing will take place using tools that can guarantee security and confidentiality by means of the use of procedures able to avoid the risk of loss, unauthorised access, unlawful use and dissemination.

Your data will only be kept for the period necessary for personnel selection purposes (for a specific position or also for future positions of potential interest). The Company provides for a periodic check of the Data and the possibility of its deletion if no longer needed for the intended purposes.

In any case, your data will be stored in the company's databases for a period not exceeding 24 months from the acquisition date by the company. After this retention period has expired, the Data will be deleted or anonymised.

4) WHO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA TO

Your personal data may be accessed by duly authorised employees, as well as by external suppliers, appointed, if necessary, as data processors, who provide support for the provision of the services.

6) YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS AND YOUR RIGHT TO LODGE COMPLAINTS WITH THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

Under certain conditions, you have the right to ask the Company:

access to your Data;

a copy of the Data you have provided us with (so-called portability),

lthe rectification of the Data in our possession,

the deletion of the Data for which the company no longer has any legal basis for processing;

revocation of your consent, if the processing is based on consent;

the limitation of the manner in which we process your Data, within the limits provided for by data protection legislation.

Right to object: in addition to the rights listed above, you have the right to object at any time, for reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of your Data carried out by the Data Controller in pursuit of its legitimate interests. Furthermore, you may object at any time if the Data is processed for marketing and profiled marketing purposes.

The exercise of these rights is free of charge and is not subject to formal constraints, but is subject to certain exceptions aimed at protecting the public interest (e.g. the prevention or identification of crimes) and the interests of the Company (e.g. maintaining professional secrecy). If you exercise any of the rights mentioned above, the Company will be required to verify that you are entitled to exercise them and to reply to you, as a rule, within one month.

If you believe that the processing of Personal Data relating to you is in violation of the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, using the references available on the website www.garanteprivacy.it, or to take legal action.
