Italy-China: letter of intent signed between Il Sole 24 Ore and Economic Daily

On the occasion of the State visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping, before the Vice Minister for Communications of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Jiang Jianguo and of the Under-Secretary of State for Information and Publishing, Vito Crimi, a letter of intent was signed on Wednesday 20 March on the start of cooperation between Il Sole 24 Ore and the Chinese “Economic Daily”.

 

The purpose of the agreement, which sees the media partnership between two leading names in their respective countries in the field of economic-financial information, is the development of editorial products tailored to the business world of the two countries, through the analysis of information and data on their respective economic environments.

 

Economic Daily, founded in Beijing on 1 January 1983, is the premier daily source of business information of the Chinese government, and represents an important window to gain insights into the development of the Chinese economy at home and abroad. Economic Daily is part of the multimedia group Economic Daily Press Group, the largest and most authoritative financial information group in China, which includes 10 newspapers and 6 magazines, such as China Textile News, China Fashion Weekly, Art and China, China Economic Information, and an economic information website on China in 8 languages.
