An increasingly strong and high-level presence in the area of professional information. With products built more and more around the identification of actual customer needs, relying on a closely-knit and experienced team that intercepts these needs and gives increasingly innovative answers.

Guidelines and goals sprang out of the meeting with the sales network of the 24 Ore Group’s Professional Area held in Milan last 8 February.

The meeting was opened by Giuseppe Cerbone, CEO of the 24 Ore Group, who stressed that "the investments we are making and will make are particularly significant in the Professional Area. We are working on innovation from a content and technology angle. In order to consolidate our leadership, we need to have cutting-edge technology, up-to-date content and a widespread and aggressive sales network on the market. We expect great results starting from this year».

An overview of the Group's development scenarios on the Professional Area was given by Eraldo Minella, senior advisor for strategies and organization of the Area, explaining how "we are currently working on a new customer journey that allows every professional client to switch simply and smoothly from one product to another, as part of a systemic and integrated editorial range, hinged on the one hand on our Daily Newspaper and its extensions, and on the other on databases enhanced with tools and operational solutions, also leveraging on the potential of artificial intelligence".

The starting point is the Group's mission definition of offering added value to businesses, professionals and public administration in order to help professionals make the right choices at the right time, leveraging on the Group's founding assets: reliability, authority, quality, service. Hence, the importance of building a customer journey for professionals and giving them answers through different tools for each stage covered.

On this front, innovation will be constant and continuous. As reflected in the launch of PlusPlus24 Fisco Ai, the first database for tax professionals able to use artificial intelligence tools. The Company also aims to develop new operational and support tools to assist in the daily tasks, as well as sector-specific business information services. A line of development hinged on two other elements. On the one hand, the Group's ability to innovate and anticipate answers to needs, its traditional distinctive hallmark. On the other hand, the renewed ability developed over the past few months of the editorial staff and Professional Area to work as a team, which has led, for instance, to the launch of E-fattura24 and to the debut on 14 February of Condono24, two continually-updated platforms dedicated to two of the new and hottest tax issues of 2019.

Greater focus on the professional front has also led to two new entries in the Area’s team: Roberto Esposito, head of the Fisco e Lavoro staff, and Antonio Gaetani, head of the network of professional agents in the sales department led by Romeo Gnoni.

A leaner sales organization is also on its way to strengthen and specialize the sales network, also taking advantage of the door opener function of the e-commerce channel and a Large Accounts network that achieved remarkable results in 2018. In order to provide answers that are more effective for clients who consider the Il Sole 24 Ore brand as a point of reference for the whole market. (Source: Il Sole 24 ORE, 9 February 2019)
