Gianfranco Fabi appointed new director of Radio24

Milan, 8 September 2008. Il Sole 24 Ore Group announced today that Giancarlo Santalmassi will step down as director of Radio 24, when his contract expires on October 9. The incoming director is Gianfranco Fabi, current senior deputy editor of Il Sole 24 Ore, who stays on in this position.

Il Sole 24 Ore Group wishes to thank Giancarlo Santalmassi for his remarkable work in helping Radio 24 prosper and increase its audience, and wishes Gianfranco Fabi the best of luck with his new assignment.

As from September 15, Alberto Orioli will step in as deputy editor of the newspaper in Rome, replacing Aldo Carboni, who retires. The Group, together with the Management of Il Sole 24 Ore, wish to thank Aldo Carboni for his outstanding commitment to our newspaper, and wish Alberto Orioli the best of luck with his new assignment.
