Appointment of the Chairman of the Statutory Auditors' Board

Milan, September 10, 2008 – Pursuant to the waiver submitted by Piergiorgio Re effective as of the last August 29, Maria Silvani took the Chairmanship of the Statutory Auditors' Board of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A.

 

Maria Silvani will stay on the Statutory Auditors' board until the next Shareholders' Meeting which, pursuant to article 2397 of the Italian Civil Code, will take care of the completion of the Statutory Auditors' Board.
